Get all you can, can all you get! │© Fola Daniel Adelesi

I came to the knowledge of the fact that some people have a funny attitude towards life and they really expect to get much out of life. They simply think about getting all they can and canning all they get. They think that they might be able to gather much in that way. If you understand life very well, or at least to a certain extent, you will realize that it does not work by trying to get much for yourself and keeping it to yourself.
Nobody comes to an increase in life by getting so much together and then sitting on it! You will never move forward that way. If you are carefully observing, you will also notice that what you have gathered and you are sitting on will not allow other things to flow to you.
I have constantly said in my writings or in meetings where I speak that some people will experience constipation. It could be constipation of information or any other thing but not physical difficulty in emptying the bowels. Why is that? There are those who are always learning and gathering information but they never share what they know with others. They are afraid that those other people will succeed as much as they have the potential to so they hold back the needed information.
When you see someone who is trying to hold back what he knows from other people, then you know that the person is ‘getting all he can and canning all he gets.’ He wants to be the only one to succeed and maybe all others will be looking at him high up there after he would have succeeded.
Break this habit if you are in this habit. You can’t make a head way in life by hoarding everything to yourself in order to succeed alone. I have also heard about some masters who have apprentices that work with them. They try to make sure that the great jobs keep coming to them by not showing their apprentices the details of the work they are learning.
Why don’t you remember that life is an open field? People may have pitched their tents with you today but when their eyes are open to see that you have been holding back things from them, they can walk away!
Among the many lessons I have learnt early in life, one of them is to never ‘get all I can and can all I get.’ I need to be open in my dealings with others. If there is something that can be useful to them and I know about it, I must share it with them. It may look like I need it as well but I still must share with those other people who need them. As I do this, I found out that other people also bring things to me even when I am a potential threat to them.
There is more to life and what you think is not enough can become so abundant and cheap! When that happens, what will be the value of all those things you have been keeping to yourself alone?
This contradicts the principles of increase even though it looks like a natural way to increase. Become open. Share what you have gathered with other people and you will find out how much more you can get by sharing with others. That can simply happen because while you are hiding things from others, they may have been hiding things from you as well. Move on in life and stop getting all you can to simply can all you get!
